What does summer feel like in your memory?
It may be an afternoon when cicadas begin to sing, a dusk brushed by the evening breeze, or a guitar accompanied by a quiet melody.
This summer, the Kepma Guitars tour begins.
We have invited young Chinese guitarist Yemin Wang to perform in four cities: Changsha, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing.
Together, we will share a summer encounter at the fingertips.
This time, with a Kepma guitar in hand, he will take the stage for one concert and tell stories of summer, music, and the guitar.

In 2023, Yemin Wang won both the championship and the Best Original Composition Award at Japan’s Morris Fingerpicking Day, becoming the first Chinese artist to claim the top prize at a Japanese fingerstyle guitar competition. He pours delicate emotion into the strings, building a musical world that is at once beautiful and melancholic through a richly colored artistic vision and an ever-shifting musical style.
He has performed alongside world-class artists including Rynten Okazaki, Shun Komatsubara, Masaaki Kishibe, and Andy McKee. His solo concerts have taken him across China, Japan, South Korea, and other countries and regions. Through the guitar, he builds a cultural bridge and brings the sound of Chinese fingerstyle music to the world.
In 2026, Yemin Wang officially signed with Kepma Guitars as a brand artist.
In 2025, he launched his “Fiesta” China solo tour. In the same year, he founded the SGC China Original Fingerstyle Guitar Competition, helping outstanding young performers step onto international stages.
In 2024, he released his solo album Fiesta and held the “Road to Champion” 2024 national tour.
In 2023, he won the championship and Best Original Composition Award at Morris Fingerpicking Day.
In 2019, he launched his first solo tour in China. In October, he performed with Gareth Pearson and Shohei Toyota at Acoustic Night of Music China Shanghai.
In 2018, he released his first original solo guitar album, Beyond the Shore · Three Lives.
In 2016, he won the West Japan preliminary round of Morris Fingerpicking Day and placed third in the national finals.
